The red string in Kabbalah

Posted by on

Red String and Kabbalah

The most famous Kabbalah item is a bracelet made of red strings. Adepts of Kabbalah wear the bracelet everywhere
and don't take it off even when they sleep or take a shower. Many Hollywood celebrities appear in public wearing red string bracelets, including Demi Moore, Britney Spears, Rosanne, and Paris Hilton. What is the importance of the Red String?

People have different views of what the bracelets symbolize. Some say that these strings are brought from the tomb of
Rachel, Jewish Matriarch, and contain some sort of spiritual energy. Other people claim that this is an amulet- protector
against evil. Some people believe that red string helps absorb the negative energy in our bodies and protects people from harm.

The authentic Kabbalistic red strings are brought directly from Israel to all parts of the world. The Kabbalah
string is tied around the wrist in seven knots, and is supposed to help people to reach positive thoughts and retain
from negative thoughts during meditations. This guiding and protective amulet, as many people believe, serves an
important tool for removing the negative influences around us and inviting the new positive energies.

Besides the Red String amulet, Kabbalah followers use other amulets, such as soul-cleansing water, empowering amulets, such as "hamsa", special Kabbalah rings and other kabbalah-products. However, the Red String amulet remains the most famous one - today, thousands of people wear the Red String bracelet around their wrists.
